As the sun is never apart from the world,but only obscured now and again by the world’s restless turning —
so also God.
In much the same way as sunlight exists in relation to the sun,so do we exist
in relation to God.
That which illumines us is also That which is seen,even as by the sun’s own light we see the sun.
